New Trains required in the next Railway Budget in India
93I have been an avid Indian Rail fan and follower since my early teens. This interest draws me to find facts and do various researches about the Railways. New trains are to be announced soon in the upcoming Railway Budget in India, hence thought of putting up my suggestions for new trains, hoping that Railway Authorities read this hub and add a few from my list.

sealdah firozpur express should run but not via allahabad kanpur delhi IT SHOULD RUN VIA LUCKNOW JN. MORADABAD LUDHIANA BECEAUSE THIS ROUTE IS MUCH MUCH SHORTER THAN VIA KANPUR ,,dhanbad firozpur(GANGA SUTLEJ EXPRESS)is running via lucknow but the train is not superfast...and same sealdah amritsar express run via kanpur delhi which is a long route in comparison to sealdah amritsar(AKAL TAKHT EXPRESS)WHICH GOES VIA LUCKNOW LUDHIANA IS MUCH MUCH SHORT ROUTE AND TAKES LESS TIME

2Bokaro Howrah Intercity Express via Purulia,Asansol and Dkae

Durgapur Howrah EMU Local Train is required in the morning leaving from Durgapur at 6.50 AM or 6.55 AM and reaching Howrah at 9.45 AM.The Train should have stoppages at Panagarh,Mankar and Burdwan.

I think Indian Railways must run newly started train Dwarka-Tuticorin (train number 19568) via Chennai Egmore running via Rajkot (capital of Saurashtra region) which has no direct connectivity to Chennai. Two trains (one train number 19568 and other 16613) run on same route, instead they may run on different routes so passengers can be benefited to a great extent.
1stly jasidhi junction the main station in deoghar city jharkhand reguires direct connectivity to many place as this place is mega tourist center and attratct round around 1 crore people every eyr.its true u can chek it.and deoghar is the acess pt for santhal pragana.

People are demanding BHAGALPUR-DURG EXPRESS via Dhanbad, Ranchi, Bilaspur. I think BHAGALPUR-LOKMANYA TILAK T EXPRESS via Dhanbad, Ranchi, Durg would be much better. It will give Bhagalpur-Durg connectivity and also People of Dhanbad and Bokaro will get a train for Mumbai which is needed very much.

Siuri to Howrah Fast Passenger Train via Durgapur is required for the passengers of Durgapur because there is always a lot of rush in Durgapur and trains can't Terminate from Durgapur because of the lack of terminal facilities.

Andal Howrah Fast Passenger Train is Required in the morning for the people of Durgapur as no Trains Terminate from Durgapur because of Lack of Terminal Facilities and there is lot of demand from the people of Durgapur for this Train from the Year 2007.
Please leave 63552 Dhanbad Asansol Passenger train in between 4.30 AM to 5.30 AM in the morning as many students of Dhanbad goes to Burdwan for Studies and coalfield Express does nor have a stoppage at Burdwan.Moreover there are no trains from Dhanbad to go to Sealdah and if this train Leaves in my above said Time then many people can board Asansol Sealdah Intercity Express from Asansol, as many people of Dhanbad goes to Sealdah changing Four Local Trains. So Please Please take a note of my request.

A Fast Passenger Train should be given from Siuri to Howrah via Durgapur because people of Durgapur faces a lot of Problem as they don't find a place to seat in Agniveena Express,Intercity Express as well as Coalfield Express. There was a lot of Demand to give a Local Train from Durgapur to Howrah since the year 2007, but still nor kept as Durgapur does not have a Terminating Facility of Trains. So this is a Very Vital Request from Me as I am an Durgapurian who also wants this train.
If this is not Possible Then Mayurakshi Fast Paassenger Train Should Start from Rampurhat at 4.30 AM so that 80% of the train remains empty before reaching Durgapur, because people of Durgapur requires a Train with Seatings as there is a Lot of Rush in Durgapur.
If Mayurakshi Fast Passenger Train Leaves at 4.30 AM from Rampurhat therec should not be a problem as Rampurhat has 6 Trains Leaving from Rampurhat to go to Howrah and Sealdah.
KINDLY START INDORE TO JABALPUR TRAIN & INDORE TO KOTA TRAIN WHICH WAS DECLARED IN LAST BUDGET & KINDLY DAILY TRAIN FROM INDORE TO UDAIPUR
Please give the Stoppages of 13503/13504 ASANSOL SEALDAH INTERCITY EXPRESS train at Barrackpore,DumDum Jn and Bidhannagar Road etc so that maximum people who are travelling on this route gets beneffited as people don't have to change trains From Naihati to go to these places.
Moreover this train is one of the worse trains INDIAN RAILWAYS as it never reaches on time both UP and DOWN. So why don't give these additinal Stoppages.

please run one fast passenger train from ANDAL Jn to HOWRAH Station very early in the morning ,say at 6.30 AM from ANDALl,to satisfy the needs of DURGAPUR Passengers because we the duragapur passengers are wanting a train from DURGAPUR from a very long time and we are always said that there are no proper terminal facilities in Durgapur to Leave a Train. There is Terminal Facilities in ANDAL Station and Train can easily terminate from ANDAL and also there are 6 Platforms in ANDAL STASTION.

Well, I have answers to all your questions.
Shalimar-Indore S/F , I did not propose the regular route MGS-ALD as there is already too much pressure on this section.I have given the terminal station Shalimar and not HWH due to overflooding of trains at HWH. Passengers of South Kolkata (Shalimar, Santragachi), Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Rourkela etc do not have a direct train for Indore and Bhopal/MP.
Kolkata-Anand Vihar S/F Daily is needed...Except Poorva no other train is availablewith AC and Sleeper class. Rajdhani is not a common people train and Yuva is not comfortable. Dhanbad lacks a daily S/F train for delhi and Kalka Mail is slow and very few quota. Poorva does not run daily via DHN and other trains are bi-weekly or weekly. So people have to go to GMO for boarding Purushottam, Neelachal, Puri-New Delhi, Swarn Jayanti,etc.
Ganga Kaveri is not the solution and not even Varanasi-Rameswaram as both run through ET. Varanasi-Chennai daily is required and it will link varanasi and Gaya to Kharagpur(IIT) ,Bhubaneswar (capital) , Vishakhapatnam, Vijaywada ...BSB-VSKP connectivity is a pending demand.

4.Diversion of 15021/15022 SHM-GKP Exp via PRR-BKSC-GMO instead of PRR-BJE-GMO. East U.P Passengers are more in BKSC and no direct train except slow Maurya. Bhojudih does not need this train.
5.Extension of newly introduced Sasaram-Anand Vihar AC Exp upto Dhanbad via Gaya for better patronage or upto Tatanagar via BKSC . being an industrial cities both BKSC and TATA need this kind of trains apart from Rajdhani which alraedy run packed.
6.Change in timing of 12825/12826 JH Sampark Kranti as this train crosses Jharkhand in night which is useless.

NUMEROUS REQUESTS:1.Chittaranjan to Howrah Fast Passenger Train Leaving from Chittaranjan early in the morning at 5.30 AM via od Line.[People are suffering here for more than 30 years because of no trains.]
2.Durgapur to Howrah Fast Passenger Train leaving from Durgapur in the morning.[though Durgapur has many trains which go to Kolkata bit they don't get a place to seat, especially in the mornimg.]
3.Durgapur to Sealdah Local Train with all Stoppages.[These two Local Trains were promised by Former Railway Minister Laluji to Durgapur Public, but still not kept.]
4.Giridih or Madhupur to Howrah Superfast Express Train, [superfast like AGNIVEENA EXPRESS]Leaving from Giridih or Madhupur in the morning and reach Howrah at 10 .30 AM.[This Train is also a demand for the Giridih and Madhupur Passengers, for mor than 10 years and if this train is given Passengers of Giridih, Madhupur and Chittaranjan would be beneffited.]
5.Asansol to Sealdah Express Train via Main Line in the Evening between 4.45 PM to 5.00 PM.
6.Bardhaman to Nagpur Express Bi-Weekly.
7.Tatanagar Bardhaman Fast Passenger
8.Bankura to Bardhaman Local
9.Gomoh Sealdah Fast Passenger via Main Line.
10.Siuri Sealdah Fast Passenger Via Durgapur, Bandel and Naihati.

Since no trains can be given from Durgapur,then please give 2 Local trains from Andal Jn or Siuri Via Durgapur to go to Howrah and one Local Train with all Stoppages to go to Sealdah.
Sir since this train does not have a stoppage in Asansol Jn please give the Halt in Chittaranjan Station for atleast 10 Minutes so that many Passengers of Asansol can come to Chittaranjan Station and Board this Train because it is not possible to find one's own Reserved Compartment in just 2 Minutes.
However my Sincere Request to the Railway Management is to give the Stoppage of this Train at asansol so that many Passengers of Asansol as well as Passengers of Bardhaman,Durgapur,Andal and Ranihanj can come to Asansol and Board this train.

Indian railways should run an Superfast Express Train from Bardhaman to Durg and run it ONE DAY via Dhanbad,Bokaro and Hatia and ONE DAY Via Asansol,Purulia and Chakradharpur becausethere is not a Single Train from Burdwan,Durgapur and Andal to go to Raigarh,Bilaspur,Raipur and Durg and in South Bihar Express people can't go from Bardhaman and Durgapur as there is not a Connecting Train to catch South Bihar Express in both 13287 and 13288 that is both UP and DOWN Trains.Please Please Loojk into the Matter.
Bokaro needs Tweo Trains Immediadetely
Bokaro to Bangalore via Dhanbad,Asansol,Adra,Purulia,Chakradharpur and Bilaspur atleasr two Days a week.

A Superfast Express Train should be given from Bhagalpur to Durg Via Andal,Asansol,Dhanbad and Bokaro and make it run Triwekly because there is not a single train from Bhagalpur as well as Durg to go to the respective places as well as from Dhanbad and Bokaro only one Express train runs which goes to Raugarh,Bilaspur,Raipur and Durg.

A SUPEFAST EXPRESS should be given from BHAGALPUR to DURG.The STOPPAGES should be RAMPURHAT,BURDWAN,DURGAPUR ASANSOL, DHANBAD BOKARO, HATIA, ROURKELA and BILASPUR because the DISTANCE is TOO MUCH and not a SINGLE TRAIN in from BHAGALPUR to DURG .

Phirojpur Janata Express should divertfrom, Via Vasai - Diva - Thane to Dadar.

Kalyan - Thane trains should start at 1 hr intervals.
Diva - Sawantwadi new train should instituted with immediate effect.

but it does not have any direct trains to adi,hwh, ghy,hyb,bsb,hataia,tvc,tpty,jat etc.there must be a daily direct superfast between lko-mas,lko-adi.
trains like mellinium express, should go to nzm via lko, moradabad as that section does not have any train to mas.

I request to Hon Railway Minister for:
1) To change the metre gauge track from Indore to Khandwa to broad gauge,
2) To fasten the work of new track between Indore Dhar Jhabua Dahod.
This will reduce time for Mumbai. This will also help in development of tribal areas between Dhar and Dahod
From the responses in the comment, India really badly in need of more trains, more train routes. I hope the improvement in India's communication system is seen every year.
Jammu -Tawi - Puri Express via Lucknow, Allahabad, Chunar, Daltonganj,Ranchi, Raurkela, Bhubaneshwar, Khurda Road B'cos there is no connecting train between 2 STATE CAPITALS i,e,LUCKNOW and RANCHI,another solution is expand 18611 RANCHI-VARANSI upto LUCKNOW via sultanpur and vice versa.
2nd increase frequency of 12104 LUCKNOW PUNE(should be daily)and vice versa.
I AM FROM LUCKNOW AND I HAVE TO TRAVEL TO RANCHI VERY FREQUENTLY.SINCE THERE IS NO DIRECT TRAIN BETWEEN LUCKNOW TO RANCHI I HAVE TO GO TO KANPUR TO GET TRAIN TO RANCHI SO IN THIS RAILWAY BUDGET I WANT THAT TRAIN BETWEEN LUCKNOW TO RANCHI SHOULD BE INTRUDUCED AS BOTH ARE CAPITALS
the railway authorities has to introduce new rotes from
chennai to belgaum ,kolhapur ,to reach this destination we
have to travel by two trains ,
dhanbad,tata-alleppey exp extend to trivandram or kochuveli and required one train in tata-trivadrum root.
Hope any of the railway officials who would have gone through this hub might consider about your suggestion, as these all trains listed above will merge lots of traffic and be convenient for the travelers.

Thanx a lot.You have done a great job.Myself from orissa. As far as my knowledge there should be a train between rourkela and berhampur via barbil,keonjhar for 3/4 days or via sambalpur,angul 3/4 days. As there is no direct train.
plz inform to mamtaji to give the train from ratangarh jn to delhi and ratangarh jn to guwahati

terrific information where we dont have to browse through the entire timetable. i would request you to bring out similar hubs on shatabdi and janshatabdi expresses.

Ps. Just to make you scratch your head. lol. There is a Train that we have in London, introduced few years ago that runs by itself. No Driver. Its the DLR (Docklands Light Rail)
All others are manually operated by people.

That's what we need here in America, more trains!
I live in a very rural area in Wisconsin, but at one time you could go to the nearest village and catch a train that would take you anywhere you wanted to go in America!
Those days are long gone now, and it is a rare thing to hear a lonely train whislte off in the distance in the middle of the night.
Because everyone has a car, the trains became a thing of the past, but I don't like to drive in big cities, so if the train was there, I would use it.

Bhuj-Howrah Train is required as so many persons of eastern maharashatra,chhatisgarh,Jharkhand,orissa and west bengal are working in Kutch region of gujrat!There is no direct train from kutch to these areas.as the kutch region is fast developing after the earth quack so it is of emense importance to start the train between bhuj-howrah.

sealdah firozpur express should run but not via allahabad kanpur delhi IT SHOULD RUN VIA LUCKNOW JN. MORADABAD LUDHIANA BECEAUSE THIS ROUTE IS MUCH MUCH SHORTER THAN VIA KANPUR ,,dhanbad firozpur(GANGA SUTLEJ EXPRESS)is running via lucknow but the train is not superfast...and same sealdah amritsar express run via kanpur delhi which is a long route in comparison to sealdah amritsar(AKAL TAKHT EXPRESS)WHICH GOES VIA LUCKNOW LUDHIANA IS MUCH MUCH SHORT ROUTE AND TAKES LESS TIME
